A biography of the founder of the Australian Inland Mission in 1912 that became a network of nursing hostels and hospitals in Central Australia. In 1928 an Aerial Medical Service was added with Alfred Traeger’s invention of the pedal radio. It subsequently became the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
