A detailed biography of an aviator and adventurer. He enlisted in the AIF in 1916 and subsequently the Australian Flying Corps and the Royal Flying Corps. In 1920 together with JoeMcIntosh they flew the first single engine aircraft from England to Australia an adventure filled 208 days. He spent the rest of his life in a range of flying and mechanical positions in Australia and New Guinea.
