A detailed biography of a Northern Territory trade union official and politician. He was first secretary of the AWU Darwin branch. In this role he led to march on Parliament House in 1918. The first Federal member for the NT in 1922 where he would doggedly promote the NT for the next 12 years. He retired to Alice Springs.
